About Cooperation Group
The Cooperation Group on Realization and Monitoring of the Poverty Reduction Strategy presented by 19 public organizations with many years of experience in development programs in different regions of the country.
From the history of the establishment: In May 2006, the Association of Scientific Technical Intelligentsia have begun an intensive discussion of interested representatives of civil sector in the regional groups to facilitate implementation of the PRS. As a result, were formed 2 Cooperation Groups, which took an active part in the drafting of the PRS document and presented a series of recommendations and proposals. In February 2006, at a joint meeting of two groups, it was decided to merge into a single support team.
Cooperation Group created to bring together representatives from various sectors of society to achieve better results in reducing poverty.
Objectives:
- Participation in the creation of mechanism to involve Civil Society in development and realization poverty reduction programs;
- Establish mechanism for joint action by key stakeholders and constructive cooperation with the government in reducing poverty;
- Greater awareness of the National Development Strategy
- Monitoring the implementation of the Strategy of Poverty Reduction and qualitative information on the macro level
Cooperation in the Group is governed by the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation, which sets forth the following principles:
- Equality of all members of the Civil Society;
- Rotation in the organization and carrying out the activities of the Civil Society;
- Umbrella scheme functioning Civil Society;
- Respect for the principle of «open door» to all wishing to join the work of the Civil Society;
