Meeting with project team

On December 4, a meeting was held on community safety issues in Somoniyon village. Project staff wanted to make sure that young people fully understand the process of community safety and can determine the security issues of target communities.

At the beginning of the meeting facilitator - project officer gave a brief summary about the partner organizations, the project goals and objectives and the purpose of the meeting. Also, the first results and the impact of these activities in creation of trust and trust relationship between population stratums were discussed with participants who took part in sports and cultural events of this community. Young people noted that after these events, a platform for constructive dialogue appeared among them, among community leaders and the school. Further, the following question was asked using brainstorming method: "What problem do you see in your community that threatens your personal safety?".

"What do you mean by security?".

The meeting took place at a good level.

On February 8-9, 2022 PO ASTI carried out two-day workshop for the state lawers and advocates of Dushanbe, Rudaki, Gisar and Vahdat districts on providing victims of violence with legal concealing within the framework of the project “To build the capacity and increase the gender sensitivity of Judges, Police Officers and state legal aid lawyers for more effective investigation, prosecution and adjudication of SGBV related cases".
