Regional meetings with local NGOs

In the framework of the first component "Peace begins with us" supported by UNICEF, there were two regional meetings and with the participation of local NGOs.

The first meeting took place in the shopping center "Paivand" Isfara 10/10/2015 year and the second in the hotel "Somoni" city Gafurov, Gafurov district 12.10.2015 year. The purpose of these meetings was to inform local NGOs about the beginning of the project, the partnership project with the stakeholders in the promotion and coordination of the project. As well as consistency criteria for the selection of potential participants - the target group of the project and to obtain recommendations for the effective implementation of the project and discuss criteria for selecting participants in the 5-day training course for trainers (TOT) in Bahoriston.

According the speech of Buzurghujaev, the representative body of the local government of Isfara city. We have to include in the selection criteria young people from families of victims of ethnic conflicts, as they conceal in their hearts hurt. Urunov G. NGO Vorukh, endorsed the target group consists of young people who have lagged behind the general public attention. He added that all the projects, which they had previously worked, were directed to active young people.

Fattoev U. NGOs - proposed to add to the criteria, not only women and housewife girls, but also those who have experienced domestic violence. There are teenagers who want to participate in activities of the project.

Karimov M – Education Inspector of Gafurov district - asked how to deal with the employment of young students and young teachers who will participate in various activities which organized in the framework of the project

Khalifaev P. - Head of ideology of Gafurov district - said that already have a bilateral memorandum so Hukumat is supporting in this situation. And these events organized in the framework of the project, it is a different kind of seminars and debates will be held only once per month, therefore on the performance of young students and young teachers can’t be considered.

The whole meeting was very productive and active. And by the local NGOs in partnership with the project were given very positive recommendations.
