The beginning of this project on September "Peace begins with us" in B. Gafurov district and Isfara city

Association of Scientific and Technical Intelligentsia of Tajikistan with the financial assistance of the International Organization of UNICEF since the beginning of this project on September "Peace begins with us" in B. Gafurov district and Isfara city.

 The project consists of three components:

-          The first component is directed to: strengthening the intrapersonal and interpersonal potential of young people aged 15 to 24 years; increase their knowledge and skills in decision-making; increase the knowledge of young people on the prevention and reduction of tensions; promote the development of tolerance among young people. This component is supposed to hold regional meetings, the selection of 200 young boys and girls from B. Gafurov district and 200 young people from Isfara city, meetings and debates for young people, as well as the final educational activity for 80 young people, which is an informal network.

-          The second component is supposed to educate young people to conduct research and analysis to identify the main problems of young people, finding solutions to tensions. Preparation and implementation of the grant program among local community organizations for solving youth problems.

-          The third component is directed to assist in increasing employee’s potential of local authorities in the field of tolerance and prevention of conflicts (conducting meetings, workshops, conducting cross-border activities in B.Gafurov district and Isfara city).

Tajik youth had a trip to Maksad

Today in the school of Maksad jamoat, KR the Festival of friendship of the inhabitants of the bordering villages was held: Ovchi - kalacha and Maksad. The event was held by the Public Foundation for International Tolerance in Kyrgyzstan in partnership with the Association of Scientific and Technical Intelligentsia of Tajikistan with the support of the United Nations Development Program in the framework of the project Strengthening cooperation between the youth of the border communities of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan”.

Study tour to Hand-carpet-making shop in Khujand

On May 10 of this year, a study tour was organized for the participants of YCG and other residents of Khojai Alo village and participants from the Kyrgyz Republic, who wanted to get more acquainted with the technology of hand-carpet making.
