Program of exchange visits

May 30, 2014. The program of exchange visits ended under the project “Power of Women in women’s club. Transfer of experience from the north to the south”. 4 consultants of 3 women’s clubs of Sughd region came in Khatlon to transfer their experience and skills to members of women’s clubs.

For two days, on May 4 and 5 women visited 10 clubs, listened to the information on the activities of Women’s clubs in Khatlon, analyzed them and were able to give advice suitable to the situation in that group, bringing examples from the life of WCs in the north of the country. Schedule of meetings and themes consultations were discussed in advance with the clubs. The project is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland under the program “Polish Aid”.

Program Research and Advocacy

Program Research and Advocacy of ASTI implemented since 2003. During this time, the program performed a series of studies aimed at examining the issues of poverty and the effectiveness of development programs, and the results of these studies later became the basis of project activities. Component Advocacy Program began to implement since 2006, when ASTI realized the need to impact on macro-level to strengthen the voice and role of civil society in reducing poverty in the country.
