International Day of Tolerance

On November 17, 2014 in the village of Khojai Alo, Chorkuh Jamoat of Isfara District an event was organized on “International Day of Tolerance”, which was attended by about 120 pupils and teachers of schools №24 and №64. The purpose of this event was to educate in young people a sense of peace, tolerance and good neighborliness in order to prevent inter-ethnic conflicts with Kyrgyz people. Participants prepared a theatrical performance, read poems about tolerance, sang songs and danced. In the second part of the meeting a friendly football match was held between the boys and volleyball between girls of two schools. Following the event, the winners and active participants were awarded with certificates and gifts. The event was filmed by reporters  of TV Isfara and was shown in a news program.
