Sayora club

Sayora club

Sayora club was founded in 2013 with the purpose of development of a garment production. Before its appearance, its members were able to knit, sew a little, but did not think that they can get from this activity any profit.

We were housewives, and after the founding of the Club, we realized that we can make money. When life makes you, you know that you have to learn something - says one of the women - a member of the Club, Mahbub Mahmadkulova.

Creation of the Club was originally for women the opportunity to meet with Martin Kvyatkovskoy, Malika Boymuradovoy, Rano Bobodzhanova. This meeting was for them the impetus for further development. At last, women bought a cow - Masha. Masha was first at Mahuby when calf was born; Masha was passed to another member of the Club. Masha gave birth to a calf - Dasha (February Dasha 1 year old). Mahuba very attached to the cow to and cared about her: "When it was cold, Dasha lived in a room near the furnace, so that nothing it does not hurt. Was so clean, I put her bowl. We stroked her, cleaned from the spike, which clung to her hair in the pasture. "When a cow gives birth to a calf, and it gives milk, cow owner transmits to the club the equivalent of one liter of milk - 1 to 2 TJS.

Leader of Club Radzhamo Dzhurahonova tells how important it is for them to exchange experiences with women from the north of Tajikistan: "It's hard to me to pass on their experience from last year's visit to Sughd. We met new people, taught sewing tablecloths. We visited the way Novbahor Clubs and Faiz".

This year, as part of the exchange of experience, they were visited by representatives of the club with SOGDA: Sanavbar, Zulfiya, Zulhumor and Kandiniso. In meetings with them were all members of the Club. Consultants talked about dry apricots. Previously, women with Club Sayora did not know how to do it, and they have a lot of fruit.

Women also learned liver cake, horns and other confectionaries. The main problem for women was the lack of electricity. Access to energy was autumn to late spring, only 2 hours a day, while the voltage is so bad that’s why the stoving was difficult. Consultants checked the documentation of the Club, as well as a book of accounting of costs and revenues.

In addition, this year in this project, women also held consultations sent to other residents. In this consultation were a lawyer, business consultant and gynecologist. In the consultation assisted about 20 participants (along with members of the club).

Women invited so many people, but they were unable to participate because of the seasonal work in the field. Despite this, those who participated were satisfied with the meeting. The President of Mahali was delighted with the organization of this event and said the deputy leader that he did not think that our women can be so active.

I think women just sit home, but they invite these guests. I also had a question, I consulted with them. The neighbors were very grateful for the advice. Recognize that the Club took into account that they also need such consultations.

Women Club can expect also to help their husbands. From the beginning they even abandoned with them their children, to care for them. Leader of Club Radzhamo Dzhurahonova blogged: "I told my husband so - I'm with you in a place never visited in Sughd, and thanks to the Club I had the opportunity to visit this region of Tajikistan."

Women are developed the activities of garment production. Two of the Club Representatives participated in lessons of sewing, which lasted 10 days. Then the women pass on their knowledge and organizing a 5-day lesson for other members of the Club. Women sew primarily upon request; In addition to traditional products, are also trying to sew other things, at the request of customers.
