Interactive teaching methods

From September 29 till 30, 2010 in the framework of the project “Poverty alleviation in Tajikistan through education and non-formal training” at the Cafe “Gulashn” of Khujand town was held seminar on “Interactive teaching methods” in order to generalize and systematize the experience of using interactive teaching methods.

 Seminar participants were teachers of target primary vocational education institutions of Sughd region.

Within three days the participants familiarized with the interactive teaching methods. Role-playing games allowed participants to show modern methods of teaching in practice. The methods such as:

- Work in small groups

- Role Playing Games

- Brainstorming

- Discussion

- Discussions and much more

The outstanding moment of the seminar was the fact that most teachers were given the task to use in practice new teaching methods in their subjects and presented it to the participants.

The similar seminar was held for teachers of target primary vocational education institutions in Khatlon region.

Involving women in the social life of community

The members of the YCG worked out the program of the event; they chose the Youth Center of Chorkuh to hold the event, the administration of which supported the initiative of the youth. The guys from YCG of Chorkuh contacted the members of YCG of Samarkandek and Pasky-aryk villages of Batken district of Kyrgyzstan and invited girls of Samarkandak and Pasky-aryk to participate in the contest.
