Law on the Prevention of Violence

In Khujand city, in the Sodirkhon Khofiz mahalla, an information meeting was held for local active women. The topic of the meeting was the “Law on the Prevention of Violence”. During the meeting, the organization's lawyer answered all the questions of the participants. The participants of the meeting took part in the discussion of the topic of access to justice, which must be ensured for all, in particular especially vulnerable persons, such as victims / victims of any form of violence, including domestic violence. Domestic violence is a consequence of gender inequality and discrimination. The justice system can play a critical role in rethinking patriarchal gender standards and raising the profile of gender equality in society.
In the Republic of Tajikistan, women and men have legally guaranteed equal rights, freedoms and equal opportunities for their implementation. Equal opportunities for men and women are envisaged in all areas of activity, both in the public sphere and in family relations. The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Prevention of Domestic Violence" dated March 19, 2013 No. 954 regulates public relations related to the prevention of domestic violence, and defines the tasks of the subjects that prevent domestic violence, to identify, prevent and eliminate the causes and conditions that contribute to the prevention of domestic violence domestic violence.

Series of informational sessions with attendance of the court employees
