Prevention of the spread of COVID-19

The specialists of “Women's Resource Center” of PO "ASTI" made a contribution to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. An explanatory work was carried out with the population in the target district-B. Gafurov, namely in its jamoats Shahrak and Khaidar Usmon. Together with the chairman of the mahalla committees, they went to each home and held a preventive individual conversation, during which protective masks, antiseptic, and informational booklets on methods of protection from coronavirus were provided for the families. In total, conversations were conducted with 100 families, 500 masks and 250 pieces of antiseptics were distributed.
This event is organized by PO "ASTI" within the framework of the project "Women's Resource Center" with the support of OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe.

Program Research and Advocacy

Program Research and Advocacy of ASTI implemented since 2003. During this time, the program performed a series of studies aimed at examining the issues of poverty and the effectiveness of development programs, and the results of these studies later became the basis of project activities.
