The role of women in society

PO "ASTI" held a number of information sessions in the target zones of the project "Strengthening and support of women's resource centers". Information sessions were held in the “Chashmai Arzana” makhalla in the city of Khujand, in the Isfisor and Haydar Usmon jamoats on the topic “The role of women in society”. During the event, the roles of men and women in the family and in society were discussed. Participants talked about their responsibilities at home and in the family. Also, information was provided on the rights of women, the position of women in society and on the law of the Republic of Tajikistan on the prevention of domestic violence.
The events were attended by a lawyer and a psychologist of the project, answered the questions of the participants on the chosen topic.
