Professional cooking courses for women

Starting from 21st of February professional cooking courses for women have began in Shahrak and Khaidar Usmon jamoats of B.Gafurov district. Courses are designed for women from vulnerable families. A program has been prepared for participants of these courses. For the period of three months women will learn how to prepare various national dishes, sweets and salads. At the first course, the trainer showed participants how to set the table.
Ultimately, women will be able to do business on their own, bringing income to the family budget and improving the life quality.
This event is organized by PO "ASTI" within the framework of the project "Women's Resource Center" with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe.

В рамках акции "16 дней активных действий против гендерного насилия" была проведена очередная встреча в джамоате Шахрак, Б. Гафуровского района. Мероприятие было проведено на тему полового воспитания молодёжи со стороны их родителей, так как это понятие считается табу в нашем обществе.

Meeting of the project partners

Within the framework of project “Community safety in the Ferghana Valley” which is implemented by PO ASTI (RT) in cooperation with the international organization “Saferworld” (UK), PF “Foundation for Tolerance International” (KR) and PO “MIR” (RT) on November 21-22, 2014 meeting of the project partners was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.
