“Prevention of domestic violence

On November 17, 2022, in Haydar Usmonov jamoat of B. Gafurov district, an information meeting was held on the topic “Prevention of domestic violence”. This event was held to raise awareness of the population and medical workers about the problem of domestic violence. During the meeting, they discussed the types of violence, the consequences of violence, who is more likely to become a victim of domestic violence, what to do with the aggressor?
The project facilitator together with participants named the causes of violence and ways to prevent domestic violence. The participants of the event took an active part, gave examples from the life of local population.
This event is held by PO "ASTI" with the support of the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe
