Celebration of Qurban Eid

On November 20, a joint cross-border event was held in the school № 64 of Somoniyon village devoted to the holiday " Qurban Eid " under the title "Friendship is our strength". The event was attended by the representatives of partner organizations, aksakals, elders, community leaders, youth, representatives of the DIA, as well as representatives of local NGOs and local authority.

The program of event was as follows:

- Presentation of project activities;

- Speech of community representatives and the authority;

- Holiday and friendship dinner and Tajik pilaf;

- Scene on border conflict;

- Sport events football, cross - marathon of friendship;

- Prizes for the winners.

Radicalism, tolerance and conflict

Within the framework of the project “Mainstreaming youth policy against radicalism” (MYPAR) funded by the European Commission in the framework of the “European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights” a series of seminars were held on “Radicalism, tolerance and conflict” for the target groups. These seminars were held for six youth groups in six target jamoats of Asht and B. Gafurov districts.

Women and religion

On January 26-27 a training “Women and religion” will be held in Osh. This is the second event on study of basics of religious processes which is conducted specifically for the representatives of the organizations- members of the Network “Dolina Mira”.
