The working meeting of the partners of Cooperation Group
Within the framework of the project “Promotion of civil society participation in implementation and monitoring of development programs in Tajikistan” ACT CA / DFID on the 24, 25, 26 of November 2010 in Chkalovsk town (Sugd region) was held the working meeting of partners of CG with the participation of representatives of MEDT. The representatives of partner organizations from Sughd, Khatlon, Dushanbe and representatives of MEDT took part at the meeting.
During the meeting participants discussed and reviewed issues of partner organizations within this project, developed new tools for public monitoring of the implementation of several measures of PRS for 2010-2012 years, defined a strategy for future work of CG, selected key organizations for the coordination of partners activities in each selected sector, and developed an action plan of Cooperation Group for the near future.

Program Research and Advocacy of ASTI implemented since 2003. During this time, the program performed a series of studies aimed at examining the issues of poverty and the effectiveness of development programs, and the results of these studies later became the basis of project activities. Component Advocacy Program began to implement since 2006, when ASTI realized the need to impact on macro-level to strengthen the voice and role of civil society in reducing poverty in the country.

23-24 января 20 участковых инспекторов милиции г. Бустон, Гулистон, Истаравшан, Канибадам, Худжанд и Айнинского, Б.Гафуровского, Дж.Расуловского, Спитаменского районов Согдийской области прошли двухдневный тренинг по предотвращению конфликтов и эффективной коммуникации, который был организован в Учебном центре национального банка Таджикистана в г. Гулистон.
