Educational and Producing Enterprise of Bokhtar District

Within the framework of the project "Support of small and medium-sized enterprises on processing of fruit and vegetable production in Tajikistan" was founded an "Educational and producing enterprise of Bokhtar district.”

It is ready to provide its services in processing and packaging of lemon and other fruits with soft shell.

"Educational and Producing Enterprise of Bokhtar district” has been established in November 2009. It is a training center for high-quality processing and packaging of lemon and other fruits with soft shell. It allows to households and farms to process and pack their own products on high-quality Turkish equipment. Supplier of the production line is a Turkish company “KORALP”.

Performance of the line is up to a ton per a shift. Power consumption of the line is 7 kw/h.

EME of Bokhtar district provides the following services:

- washing of dried lemon and other fruits with soft shell

- drying of dried lemon and other fruits with soft shell

- calibration of lemon and other fruits with soft shell

- packaging of lemon and other fruits with soft shell with paper impregnated with wax or with a polypropylene bag to pieces.

On the basis of educational and Producing enterprise organized a resource center on providing information about:

- technology of cultivation and crop management

- technology of processing of agricultural products

- manufacturers of processing equipment

- quality standards and certification of the products

- procedures of imports of products

- and many other materials relating to agricultural products.
