Master classes for leaders of 10 women's clubs

On 5 and 6th of July 2013 in Bohtar district of Khatlon region a workshop for 10 leaders of women's clubs was conducted at the hotel complex Vahdat. The participants of master classes were 20 women: per 2 women from each club. The purpose of the master class was to support active women of the village and an important element has been strengthening their skills in the area of mutual cooperation and participation in making important decisions for the club.

Training was conducted by experienced trainers from the Foundation “Education for Democracy” Martyna Kwiatkowska and Malgorzata Borowska.

Each of the trainers has a minimum of 5 year experience in international projects with partners from the East, and the experience of working with local communities.

The thematic range of the master class:

• Types of leaders, characteristics of a good leader

• Who should be the leader of a team, and who should not be?

• How to effectively attract people to work together?

• Conducting meetings, discussions and decision-making processes

• Ethics in social activities.

 During the master class Mariusz Michalik took lots of photos of participants and shot video.

Training which is affecting me

The TOT on analytical and research skills was conducted from 19 to 24 of October in sanatoria “Bakhoriston”, Kayrokkum city which is in the framework of the project “Peace begins with us” which is implementing by PO ASTI under the support of UNICEF in the territory of B.Gafurov and Isfara city.
