Roundtable devoted to the International Day of Senior Citizens

On October 2, 2009 at the building of Administration of Asht district was held a roundtable dedicated to the celebration of International Day of Older Citizens. The roundtable was attended by representatives of Asht district Administration, a member of the Assistance Group and monitoring of the programs PRS and NNDS, the Chairmen of the Mahalla Committees, expert advisors, and active senior citizens. In his speech, the project coordinator Tyuryaev J. presented to the participants of roundtable information on project activities for the 9 months. The expert consultants Kodirova K, Imomnazarov W, Masharipov H submitted information of the results of conducted mobile consultation for 6 months in the following areas:

- Social welfare

- Healthcare

- Law

Rakhimova B, a member of the group of Assistance to the monitoring of PRS and NNDS programs provided with information on implementation of PRS and NNDS programs.

During the roundtable questions from expert consultants were asked by the participants.
