Representatives of the US Embassy in the Republic of Tajikistan are getting acquainted with the activities of the Team of Police Partnership with the Community

Within the framework of the project “Team of Police Partnership with the Community”, implemented by PO ASTI in partnership with the international organization Saferworld and with the financial support of the Department for Drug Control and Law Enforcement (INL) under the State Department of the US Government, a working visit of representatives of the US Embassy took place on April 25 in the Republic of Tajikistan to the Sughd region.

The main purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the activities of the Team of Police Partnership with the Community of Guliston town and the Chorkuh jamoat of Isfara town. Based on the results of the meetings, the guests were given a positive assessment to the activities of the groups. There was also a proposal to include a meeting with the Guliston Team of Police Partnership with the Community in the plan of visit of the extraordinary and authorized US Ambassador to Tajikistan during her trip to Sughd region.
