Sogd's women continue to train the colleagues from Hatlon

Within the framework of the project “Power of women in women's clubs. Transfer of experience from the north to the south of Tajikistan” the program of exchange visits ended. 4 consultants from 3 Sughd women’s clubs “Firuza” of B.Gafurov, clubs “Kunduz momo” and “Navbakhor” from Asht district arrived in Khatlon to transfer their experience and skills to members of women’s clubs.

 During two days, on August 13 and 14, 2014 women of Sughd region per two people visited per 5 clubs. At the meetings they listened to the information on the activities of the WC in Khatlon, did a comparative analysis of clubs’ activities of Sughd and Khatlon. The meetings were very interesting and rich. Meeting schedule and topics for consultation were discussed in advance with the clubs’ members.

On November 1, 2015 to November 2, 2015 in Kurgantyube for members of mahalla committees and women's teams from 10 villages Bohtar and Vakhsh districts held a two-day seminar summing up the activities of the small grants program and action plan for 2016 years. Total for the project period was implemented 10 small grants in 10 villages.

On December 5, in Osh city of Kyrgyzstan a five-day youth cross-border school has started for young entrepreneurs, representatives of local authorities, teachers, participants of border conflicts and other young people living in several villages along the Kyrgyz - Tajik state border between Sughd region of Tajikistan and Batken region of Kyrgyzstan
