February 25-26 this year in Dushanbe

We completed series of trainings for policemen, judges, state lawyers and advocates by delivering the training for policemen in Dushanbe on February 25-26, 2022. The training was organized within the framework of the project “To build the capacity and increase the gender sensitivity of Judges, Police Officers and state legal aid lawyers for more effective investigation, prosecution and adjudication of SGBV related cases". The project is part of the Spotlight Initiative, which aims to end all forms of violence against women and girls by 2030, as part of a multi-year global partnership between the European Union and the United Nations.

Meeting with project team

On December 4, a meeting was held on community safety issues in Somoniyon village. Project staff wanted to make sure that young people fully understand the process of community safety and can determine the security issues of target communities.

Seminar for young people to implement the proposed ideas

The aim of the training was to increase the capacity of high school students on the development of ideas and preparation of small-scale projects. To achieve these goals the trainers set tasks to acquaint the participants with the peculiarities of the development of project ideas, develop skills to identify problems and their causes and to educate teens planning skills - the path from problem to solution.
