16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign that begins on November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and ends on December 10, Human Rights Day. During 16 days, cultural, educational, social and activist events are held around the world, the purpose of which is to combat gender-based violence, help victims and draw attention to the problem.
PO "ASTI" held an action dedicated to this campaign. The project staff informed the population about the international campaign and distributed thematic brochures.
This event is held by PO "ASTI" in the framework of the project "Supporting and Strengthening of Women's Resource Center" with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe

On February 22-23, 2022 PO ASTI carried out two-day workshop for the state lawyers and advocates of Bokhtar, Vose, Yovon, Jo,I, Balkhi, Qubodiyon and other districts of Khatlon region on providing victims of violence with legal concealing within the framework of the project “To build the capacity and increase the gender sensitivity of Judges, Police Officers and state legal aid lawyers for more effective investigation, prosecution and adjudication of SGBV related cases".
